DANES DYKE TO FLAMBOROUGH HEAD PHOTOGRAPHY AND NATURE WALK
The East Coast of Yorkshire is a wonderful place to visit if you like photography and walking with fantastic views and wildlife. with all the seabirds on the cliffs and all the wildlife in the fields.
Come for a nice relaxing walk to do some photography and a look at all the wildlife along the clifftop from Danes Dyke to Flamborough Head.
This is a full day of walking and photography from Danes Dyke to Flamborough Head and we will be out for about 8 hours. As this walk is all on the clifftop you will need to have good footwear as the ground underfoot is uneven. You may also need waterproof clothing if the weather looks like rain because this walk will take place whatever the weather.
You may also wish to bring something to eat and drink. There is however somewhere at Flamborough Head to get refreshments. Parking is available at Danes Dyke however you will have to pay.
While on this photography and nature walk you will be given advice on basic camera settings like exposure, aperture, iso, and composition. Also, we will talk a little about various landmarks and places and discussing what wildlife we see.
To photograph seabirds and wildlife along the cliff top the problem is getting close enough, so you will need a suitable camera with a lens focal length of at least 200-300mm. A 500mm or a 600mm would be ideal also if you want to do some landscape you will need an 18-55mm or similar. You may also wish to bring a pair of binoculars with you.

Due to walking along the clifftops and being close to the cliff edge space is limited to 2 people per day.
