If you’ve been itching to take your photography skills to the next level, this Seabird Photography Mini Break is the perfect opportunity for you! You’ll be heading to RSPB Bempton Cliffs in East Yorkshire for two nights Bed & Breakfast at Ako’s* in Bempton and all meals included. The cliff tops have an array of seabird colonies to explore, giving you an amazing opportunity to discuss and practice photography techniques with a dedicated leader.
This trip is ideal for those who want to get off AUTO mode and into full manual mode. The course is ran over 3 days which will give you plenty of time to get to grips with the settings. You’ll need to have a least a 300mm lens (200-500mm or a 150-600mm lens would be ideal), a tripod, memory cards, spare batteries, and any other equipment you need to bring along. The friendly leader will provide guidance and tips to ensure you get the best shots possible.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced photographer looking to brush up on your skills, this is an ideal opportunity for you! You’ll learn how to use lighting, settings, and framing to capture stunning seabird images to take home with you. You can also take part in a group image review at the end of the each day, discussing each other’s photography to give constructive feedback and share tips.
